Improve Tidy for everyone
When you correct Tidy, it learns. With this setting on, your corrections also help make Tidy better for everyone.
How it works
When you move an email to another area, say “not urgent” or change a company's type, what Tidy thought and what you chose are saved. Later, Tidy's own AI learns from these examples.
What's saved
- The sender's domain (e.g. company.com), the email's subject and Tidy's summary
- Tidy's decision and your correction
Personal details are hidden before saving: email addresses, phone numbers, IBANs, card and ID numbers, and people's names. The full email and its attachments are never saved.
Where it's kept
Only on Tidy's own servers. It isn't shared with or sold to any other company.
Turning it on or off
- Open Settings → Data & privacy.
- Switch “Improve Tidy for everyone”.
This setting starts off; you're asked at the end of setup. When you turn it off, the corrections saved so far are permanently deleted.
In a Business account, the company's owner or an admin makes this choice.
