Data retention
You decide how long older records are kept in Tidy. The emails on your mail server are never touched.
What's deleted
For emails older than the period you choose: Tidy's summaries, the details it read (dates, amounts, document details) and their copies in Tidy Cloud. Notifications are deleted for everyone after 180 days.
Options
- Forever (default)
- 3 years, 2 years, 1 year
When you choose a period, Tidy doesn't load emails older than it again.
- Open Settings → Data & privacy.
- Choose under “Data retention”.
