Anonymous usage data

Small, anonymous signals tell us where Tidy needs to get better. Your email content is never part of them.

What's collected

  • The type of correction, e.g. “an email moved from Bills to Bank” or “priority lowered from urgent to normal”
  • Industry and language
  • The date

What isn't collected

  • The email's content, subject or summary
  • Senders, domains, names, amounts
  • Your account, name or email address

Why it's anonymous

These signals can't be linked to any person, account or email. That's why they aren't included when you export your data and can't be deleted afterwards; when you turn this off, no new signals are collected.

Turning it off

  1. Open Settings → Data & privacy.
  2. Turn off “Anonymous usage data”.

In a Business account, the company's owner or an admin changes this setting.
