Rules
Describe in your own words what Tidy should do automatically with future emails.
For example: “Hide campaign emails from this shop”, “Tell me about invoices over £5,000”, “Tell Sarah when a court notice arrives”. Create rules on the Rules screen or in chat; Tidy shows how many emails from the last 30 days would match.
What rules can do
- Mark done (hide), change priority, add to an area
- Notify you or a teammate, create a task
- Hand an email over to a person or department inside the company, ask for approval
- Put the date on your calendar, move the email to a folder on the server
- Reply automatically or forward the email outside: each forward waits for approval; in a Business account, rules set up by team members that send email outside don't run until an owner or admin approves them
Rules can't delete emails. You can also apply a new rule to the last 30 days of emails.
Your own relationship types
Add your own type (e.g. “Dealer”) from the relationship menu on a company card; you see and remove them here.
