How far back Tidy looks

For each mailbox you choose how far back your emails show in Tidy.

Options

• All (default): every email in your mailbox
• Last year, last 90 days, last 30 days

Summaries

Your 5,000 most recent emails are summarized without using credits. Older emails show in your lists and can be searched; they're summarized when you open them.

If you shorten the period

Older emails are hidden in Tidy; their summaries and notes aren't deleted. They come back as soon as you extend the period. Emails on your mail server are never touched.

Very large mailboxes

Up to the 100,000 most recent emails are loaded per mailbox; new emails always arrive. If your data retention period is shorter, Tidy doesn't load emails older than it.
