Email accounts
Connect your mailboxes, set your sender name and signature, and share with your team.
Sender name and signature
The sender name is what recipients see; leave it empty to use your name. The signature is added under replies sent from Tidy. If Tidy finds a signature in emails you've sent, it suggests it.
Sender addresses
You can also send from other addresses like info@ or sales@ through the same mailbox. When replying, Tidy sends from the address the email came to.
In a Business account
- Shared mailbox (info@, accounts@): the people you choose see it in their own Tidy, read, reply and mark done. When one person finishes an email, it's done for everyone; only the owner changes the mailbox's settings.
- Assistant access: the person you choose (up to 3) sees the emails in your personal mailbox, replies on your behalf and sees meetings in your calendar. Everything they do is recorded under their own name.
- Route to departments: Tidy pre-sorts emails that need action in a shared mailbox to the right department and leaves the ones it isn't sure about in the mailbox. No email is sent.
Connection problems
If Tidy can't connect to a mailbox it keeps retrying. If your mail password changed, just add the same address again with the new password.
Removing a mailbox
Tidy's summaries and dates for the mailbox are deleted; the emails on your mail server aren't touched.
How many mailboxes?
The Personal plan includes 1 mailbox and each extra mailbox is charged separately; during the trial you can connect up to 3. In a Business account everyone connects their own mailbox and shared mailboxes can be added.
